This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Have anybody got any item that scan $0.00.

You can put any red sticker, then that be the price.
If you are serious (not sure you are EEK! ), I wouldn't go putting price stickers on any items. Someone in the K-mart thread got in trouble legally for pulling off a scanable sticker on an item that scanned INF. Luckily the charges were later dropped, but altering the price of any item is just asking for trouble. Even if the item scanned for 0 to begin with. You are just better off finding a kindly looking salesperson who will help you put a good price on the item! bulb Just not worth the risk!

I know I should know this but apparently I am having duh moment (or a duh decade). What the heck does TRU mean?

What is the origin or the $5/3 coupon? Was it originally a printable and where did it come from?

I thought that, but there have been a couple times where I didn't think that made sense in the context it was used. I'm sure it did, it must have just been me not getting it then. Thank you.

Good finally home from trying to sell some of my stash pile. So much work! I transport my items to another location, since I live in the country where people are more spaced apart and selling out here would not be that profitable. However, since I have to go somewhere else I can never take all of my stash. I tried to sell things today that were more likely to expire sooner if the weather gets bad, and I can't sell in the winter.

I made $1,630, but feel I could do much better if my items were all in one place. Also do you guys/gals keep track of the cost of the items you sell? In other words I grossed $1,630, but I do not know my original costs, so it is not really making that much. I also sold a few weeks ago, but that time I only made $650. Part of the problem is having to travel to sell and getting started so late. Starting at 8:00 (setting up like mad as we are selling)and selling till 1:00 or 2:00 is probably not long enough, but by the time noon rolls around we are ready to go home. So when it gets to be 1:00 we start packing up and are home by 2:00 if we pack fast.

I still have so much more to sell, I can't think straight. Also unfortunately I think a few items walked off, but hopefully it wasn't that much. So hard to watch everything and everyone when you are only working with 2 adults and you have a huge amount of people. I feel like we set out to much to watch and sell at once.

Does anyone else keep a list of what they sell? I was keeping a list and some people get upset, they just want to hand you money and go. However, when someone is buying so many items you have to write it down to add it up. I have to find a better system, as I probably have only sold 50% of my stuff if I am lucky. Probably not even that. I didn't sell any diapers at all, but getting on in on the diaper deals would have been a money maker I am sure. However there is just no way I can store big packs of diapers on top of everything else. It is so exhausting.

Also I swear one lady came to the sale 4 different times to ask me to sell my Herbal Essence for $1 a bottle. I went down to $1.75 on a few, but didn't want to go any lower as I was easily selling it at $2.00 a bottle. Plus I don't get this stuff for free, well ok the Herbal Essence was free during K-mart doubles, but what about the tax, time it took me to get it, gas costs to get it and get it to the sale, coupon clipping, newspaper cost etc... Plus most of my items did have a cost. On the things I went down on, I was just being nice really (persistant people), as I was having no problem selling the items they wanted reduced for what I was asking. A fraction of the cost of course.

OT.... Question - Are any of you familiar with the Smart Discipline seminars or technique? There is going to be a wrokshop in my area soon & was wondering if it was worth attending. I need help with my 4yo DD....she isn't out of control but I can see it getting that way soon if I don't fix things. Would appreciate any feedback. Feel free to pm me if you would rather reply that way.... Smilie

My cat finally rebelled on the tidy cat litter I wasn't liking it anyways, so I am back to using Arm and Hammer this is an old fav of mine but haven't used it in about a year. Cats like it so it is a go... Checked out the Arm and Hammer web site for q's.

http://www.armandhammer.com/

click on coupons and you have to register, let me print 2 times on one computer but only once on the other.
Can I trade any for printouts of the arm and hammer litter? I was only able to get 2 of the litter and 3 of two other things on the list I wanted. I only get one paper but maybe there is something you need more IP's of?

Have fun!! I can't wait for election day. This one is historic in so many ways, it is sure to be an exciting day all around! Totally not a major political issue, but I heard on TV that Obama's wife is 5'10" tall. Score one for us tall ladies!....now if I could just decide who to vote for ........
