I bought a pair of glasses last week, paid half with check & half with gift card. The very nice optical person said that I could come back in once the check clears and switch the payment out to a gift card because I had one on the way to me.
So I waited for the check to clear, 10 days, and went in today to switch it out. The gsa at the desk couldn't figure it out so she called the gstl. The gstl couldn't understand what I was trying to do so she called the optical person over....luckily the same person was working.
They were figuring out how to process the return & rebuy (I also brought in my vision discount card after the fact, which I was due a $25 refund on top of switching out the payment method). I can understand talking it out to make sure it is processed correctly, but the gstl said she didn't feel right doing it, that it felt fraudulent. I let it go at that time because the optical chick was sooo helpful, trying to help her understand that it's no different than buying an item with cash, then returning & rebuying with a gift card. Once they got it returned properly, I asked the gstl if she still felt that it was a fraudulent transaction, and why. She said yes it did but she wasn't going to say anything else about it.
I don't understand why she would make me out to be a criminal, when the optical person said it was doable AND she stood right there and allowed the optical person to process the transaction on her register. I'm just a bit peeved about the whole thing and wonder if I should call tomorrow and ask to speak to the LOD.
I can understand the thing about the check, but it had been 10 days, cleared from my account, and the register gave the option to refund cash. Good thing this is not one of my favorite stores....I am certainly a marked shopper from now on.
Here's the deal. If any player steals a base during Games 1-4 on October 22, 23, 25 or 26, anyone in America can head to Taco Bell on October 28 between 2-6 p.m. for a free taco. If a base is stolen during Games 5-7 on October 27, 29 or 30, you can get your free taco on Monday, November 3 during the same hours

THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS
I go this email and it said to forward it to friends .
About the movie:
In this adult drama based on the best-selling book by author John Boyne, THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS is a fictional story that offers a unique perspective on how prejudice, hatred and violence affect innocent people, particularly children, during wartime. Through the lens of an eight-year-old boy largely shielded from the reality of World War II, we witness a forbidden friendship that forms between Bruno, the son of Nazi commandant, and Schmuel, a Jewish boy held captive in a concentration camp. Though the two are separated physically by a barbed wire fence, their lives become inescapably intertwined as friends. The imagined story of Bruno and Shmuel sheds light on the brutality, senselessness and devastating consequences of war from an unusual point of view. Together, their journey helps recall the millions of innocent voices- victims of tyranny and evil.

Hi Everyone....
Sure did miss you all, a month in California with no internet drove me crazy. Going to the Library or Starbucks was a pain so I gave up on that.
found the dcpi's if you need rainchecks on the cranium games. the polar bear bingo, duck duck 1-2-3 & puppy pals bingo all show up the same on my receipt: 087-10-0280. zooreka is 087-10-1360. how does that work with a rc if 3 diff products share same #????
I got a zooreka game and wanted the polar bear but gone. did see duck duck and puppy bingo. can we get raincheck on certain games or only if they are totally empty on shelves?
btw, got my party utensils at dollar tree. hefty bowls, halloween platter, tea lights just a buck
So far, when I want to see a movie, I would go to fandango.com then select movie title and showtime. then print and bring the ticket form to cinemark. But what happens if I miss the showtime or decide to go later date. Anyone knows if you can just bring the fandango buck and choose your movie there?

Don't forget Fandago charges a $1 fee too so if you are like me, the $5 ticket is now $6, so that will leave you with $4.
you must purchase before you go to the theater around this area..i tried at grapevine, GP and Arlington. No luck HTH

I know that if you do not have the credit card you purchased the tickets with we will only give passes.....no cash refunds on credit cards. If you say it was a fandango gc, well they are probably going to tell you to contact fandango.
Shoppingfan is right, you gotta redeem it online...I've actually had a lot of people get pissed when they bring their gc to the theatre and we can't do anything with it lol.

I was wondering about that as well. I know the theaters will be packed this weekend for HSM3
I am not looking forward to that at all.
Last night...tons of screaming adults for Janet Jackson
weekend, lots of screaming kids for HSM3!!!!
I bet you guys hear those kind of complaints fairly often & are thinking...
we are not associated/affiliated with Fandango..they just sell our tickets...that's it. Issue with theater, contact us....Issue w/tickets, contact Fandango!!
They are a 3rd party vendor for theaters.
Also, I have about 10 propel coupons that I won't be able to use that exp 10/31 if anyone wants them.
muffintop - i have had no troubles getting rainchecks when taking the dpci # up to the desk & just askin for one....even if there is just one on the shelf & i have a bogo q to use, it still will print.

An example for me is that I have to drive almost 20 miles to get to a Target that has the Horizon milk boxes so when I make that special trip, passing two other regular T stores, I will buy 15 or so milk boxes (some singles, some the 3 packs). This is one of the few coupons that I would use so many at one time. I've only used the Lipton 1 or 2 at a time, but that Horizon one is special circumstance. Am I the only one that doesn't consider this valid usage of a TQ to be "smash & grab" ?
