This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Just in case some of you don't know...Crazy 8 is from Gymboree.

Of course this is if you have a place to keep it out of the way that won't bother you and if your ocd doesn't drive you insane.
Thanks for the tip on Crazy 8 --- I don't shop at Gymboree due to prices --- but I will keep an eye on Crazy 8. Oh and that makes the assumption that we are not insane already! ROFL!

DevilMomma... I was sent two copies of the Red Toys Book. It's not the Big Toy Book that came in the Sunday paper, these were thinner Toy Books. Both had $5/50 Qs. Thumbsup Shamefully I forgot to use one today.... guess I'll have to make another run tomorrow.

Anyways, they both have the $5 TQ for the EBO. I will send you the TQs, I don't need them. As I said, we have a lovely PINK one sitting in the back room. At least my DD likes it, too. And we have soo many mixes or I'd put on my invisible glasses and get some Sugar Cookies...

Who was looking for a play kitchen? We bought a play kitchen for my DD last year. Bought this Step 2 one at WM for $90 last year ... I bought a HUGE set of food on the Amazon After Thanksgiving Toy Sale for 75% off. It's a small enough kitchen it can stay in the living room and she still plays with it ... somebody (TRU?) had a nice wooden KidKraft kitchen for $99. That's the one we wanted last year but it was $150 at the time...
Does the cover of the book you got look different? I am going to see if I can find one for the coupon for the EBO --- I want to get one for my DS he would LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Any suggestions on which mixes are good? My plan is that and theTag if I can work it out Smilie

Oh and thanks for the tips on Kitchens - I am having such a hard time deciding .... do you think it would be cheaper after Christmas? Any of them? Does Step 2 ever clearance stuff? Thx!!!!

Yes 16000 as you said. Okay. I need to go hunt Smilie That is great!

Im liking this thread more and more. This website is so darn addictive! I have to cut myself off tomorrow though. I am going out of town for two weeks and I *NEED* to get my coupons organized. Does anyone else find coupons in their bathroom drawers, their purses, their pants pockets, all over the car, on top of the dresser, in the kitchen drawers or is it JUST me?????? Sheesh!
Yup!!!! No organization here!!! No time!!! --- and THANKS for the GM tips!!!!!!!

Ok I don't normally post because I don't get to target very often. I think my girls see the bullseye and decide that is when they need to act up. They don't do this at any other store but Target so I don't go very often..BUT...does anyone have any barbie peelies they'd like to trade? I only get coupons off the internet so if there's something you want me to print, let me know. I'd love to trade before xmas!

I read this EBO tip in a magazine or somewhere (can't remember, but I can't take credit for it), if you get the break apart refrigerated cookie dough, you know the kind that comes in a big rectangle with already perforated little squares, evidently you can cook just 1 little square at a time in the EBO. It bakes up a single cookie treat. Thought that might be a nice suggestion for some of you with younger kiddos who might not be as proficient with the mixing.

Hmm...strange question ahead. Big Grin

When did/do you guys start potty training your kids? My mom and DH's mom swear that I need to start teaching DD now...isn't it too early? (She's 14 months.) Thanks.

My DS turned 2 in August and we haven't started yet. He is getting a potty for Christmas so we'll probably start after the 1st of the year. I think 14 months is too early, but that's just me. He's in a 2 mornings a week program now with all 2 year olds and I would say 80% aren't potty trained yet.

Now I am just lost again. All i can picture is vanilla ice. I was like very very young when he came out. I had the biggest crush on him. WTF was wrong with me?

That sounds like a great idea! Im not sure DD is ready for this (she will be 5?) but I am hoping it does not involve a hundred mom's all the time. I will just pull my hair out!

2 years. They will tell you when they are ready, not necessairly by words but by actions. Forcing a kid to potty train is actually the worse you can do for them. It really can lead to all kinds of problems mentally and physically. Oh and some kids never want to do Number 2 on the toilet. DD took it all in stride and was finished in about 2 days. So simple!

ditto. I completely breeze through the "deals" thread and declare shenanigans on it.....

Just in case some of you don't know...Crazy 8 is from Gymboree. It is great for the kiddos. Lots less expensive and the clearance is really good when you catch it. Plus for shipping you can say it is a gift and get up to 3 gift boxes free with tissue and such thrown in the box. I save those for some of the secret orders and use the extras for birthday gifts and such. Oh and the shipping is a flat $5.
I would suggest ordering one size UP from what your child normally wears. I have noticed that they run a size smaller.

Plus, just a mommy/teacher major quirk of mine is seeing all of those kiddos take out their hot sandwich that has been sitting in their locker for roughly 4 hours and eating it. Bologna and mayonnaise seems to be the staple. Really any lunch meat and condiments. vomit

Seriously what adult would eat that and yet they send it to school with the kiddos in a paper bag with no ice pack. Why not pack a pb&j? It is thoroughly disgusting. End of rant!

.
I recently signed up for Crazy 8 newsletters for coupons and had no idea they were the same company! Is the quality as good as Gymboree???

BTW: MOMMY OF ALLERGIC CHILD ALLERT: PB&Js send my heart racing. If my dd took a bite of someone's sandwich, the epipen would be brought out. Peanut allergies are on an alarming rise. PB&J are not the great sandwiches from our childhoods Frown Hence the Spam, etc. in her lunch (with ice pack...)!
