This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

whatcha need? diapers? Durex? TGIF? Free Coke? Free papertowels, toilet paper, laundry soap? You'll never buy deodorant, shampoo, soap again...hang in the lounge for awhile, and you'll learn. The deals thread has a history. It's actually pretty nice right now. A year ago, you blood would have curled it was so frightening. I think that it's worse when there aren't any 'hot' deals going. People get too much time on their hands and then the Bonk starts. Plus too, you have your occasional crazy that wanders in and upsets the apple cart.
i already have done the glade and tgif thing. i have the coupons for durex, just bought alot of cleaning products for cheap.
my sister does need diapers for he 1 yr old baby girl, which thread do i go to find it?

i am also trying to learn the whole cvs thing....for guys, its tough work!

I divorced CVS back in May. The deals just died, and I found that I could get more at Target. Then recently we have found Kmart. Now, Kmart is vomit but the overages are killer. They have the happiest cash registers anywhere.!

I wouldn't suggest for a noob, especially a guy, to try to learn 2 stores at once. You may get frustrated and give up. Just learn one system real good, and by then, you'll understand how coupons work, you'll have a network of friends to trade with, etc, and you'll be ready to tackle any store you want to.

Good advice Teri, Also pick your cashiers carefully, and don't be afraid to flirt with the cashier if you have to, males included!!

Except NEVER go to a middle aged to older woman. Well, a guy can maybe get away with it, but I still wouldn't try it. They HATE coupons and will make your trip H*LL!

hello everyone. If anyone has the Easy Bake Oven or have used it, do you think a girl whose almost 10yrs old would like it? I initially thought that my DH's god daughter just turned 9 and was thinking of getting it for her for Christmas but just realized she must be closer to 10... any help will be greatly appreciated... Thank you in advance Smilie

I don't even know what to give to kids on this age range Confused

I agree, Teri. The last time I had a cashier in this age range, I left everything in my cart. She was pretty happy at first but the smile left her face when I started giving her Qs. Frown

I have abandoned carts before I ever started to check out bc all that was there was older women!! Sucky!! Then again, I hit my K on the way home from work and there is only ever the one cashier at 8 am and she is about 70 years old. She "reads" every Q I give her and it used to freak me out, but I have used some WONDERFUL q's with her and she has never said anything yet, all Q's scanned and went as planned. I am ok with her nod

I was the WINDSHIELD today!!! Got a cute little boy cashier who is home on college break. I almost wanted to make out with him. Posting some details over here in Chat, because Chat is the new Deals if you haven't heard.
EBO Deal - Mix Q autodeducted $10.88. I'm wondering what would happen if I forgot to buy the oven.
Which Q did you use? from book or printable? .... just wondering if theres a difference.

Today is the day for BF ad PM ... will be doing mine tomorow just to be safe Big Grin

yesterday i picked out a young guy who looked scared of customers, picked him and he hit the k1 button without hesitation. second time through i went to a younger girl, was going smoothly until one of the tgif coupons wouldn't scanMad then she started to read the coupon and was like, i can't do this, $3 off $1.84 and she called over a manager... luckily she didn't reject all the glade coupons for the deal...but she limited me to 1 tgif on the order.

the other ringers were old ladies Mad

I haven't had any trouble with my TGIF scanning. If you got yours from who I think you did, yours should be scanning too. I just checked out the deals thread. You handled your own pretty well, I've seen worse, heck, I've given worse laugh out loud
