All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Target Recalls Dive Sticks Due to Impalement Hazard

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Name of Product: Dive Sticks

Units: About 365,000

Importer: Target, of Minneapolis, Minn.

Hazard: The recalled dive sticks could remain in an upright position, posing an impalement hazard to young children. CPSC banned pre-weighted dive sticks in 2001.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported.

Description: The recalled dive sticks were sold in a bundle of three in multiple colors: light blue, aqua green, fluorescent yellow, royal blue, and red. The tag accompanying the dive sticks contains: "Dive Toys" or "Diving Game" and has a white small parts warning label in the upper right hand corner. The words "Made in China" are printed in the lower right hand corner.

Sold exclusively at: Target stores nationwide from April 2008 through August 2008 for about $1.

Manufactured in: China

Remedy: Consumers should take the recalled dive sticks away from young children immediately and return them to any Target store for a full refund.

Consumer Contact: For additional information, contact Target at (800) 440-0680 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. CT Monday through Friday or visit the firm's Web site at www.target.com

I just want to thank whoever posted the information about part time jobs with Smart Source. I filled out the application online last week and got offered a job today. The hours are very flexible. The company gives you a $15 check every month for high speed Internet, $.36 per mile gas reimbursement, and free printer paper and ink.....plus they pay you too laugh out loud

I start next week so thanks again!

I do not know where to put this..........
Just a heads up........
My one local radio station sent out an alert.

RECALLED: Lean Cuisine Meals

3 varieties of frozen meals recalled
NestlPrepared Foods Company announced today a recall on a three varieties of Lean Cuisine entrees which may contain small pieces of blue plastic.

The recalled meals are:

- Lean Cuisine Spa Classic Chicken Mediterranean
- CafClassics Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta
- Lean Cuisine Dinnertime Selects Chicken Tuscan

The recall is for meals that were produced from August 18th to October 27th.

One grocer, Harris Teeter, said in a press release this morning they have pulled the Lean Cuisine Spa Classic Chicken Mediterranean entr from its store shelves (it is the only one of the three they carry). However, these meals are sold at a variety of grocery stores.

For additional information regarding this recall, please direct any consumer inquires to the NestlConsumer Service Center hot line at 1 (800) 227-6188.

Hey! Congrats!! I was contemplating on applying, but I've got way too much going on right now. Maybe later on I will! What do you have to do? Just go to stores and set up their blinkie machines?
