I think this is not same as 144hz 1440p gaming. This is more for an Ultrawide Exp.
If the Qnix is a regular 16:9 monitor, then this one would be lower resolution and refresh rate (up to 75hz), but it's ultrawide and has Freesync. So it's a tradeoff.
I think that description is incorrect.. Looks like 1xDP and 2xHDMI, plus a headphone out & power. Also, it's vesa mountable, if anyone was wondering. I have the 29UM58-P and like it.

Downgrade from qnix 1440p overclocked to 98hz? My r9 390 gets 40-60 fps on many games.

Can someone tell me what's the use of the USB-C port on this monitor?

usb-c would be for video. So if you had a macbook, you plug it in. HDMI/displayport video is pushed out via USB-C spec. I saw a youtube video and one reviewer says it only charges at 7 watts. So it is useless for a Macbook w/ single USB-C port. Most USB-c monitors charge up to 60 watts.
Sorry I wasn't clear.. The pictures of this model don't show a USB C port anywhere, just the ports i mentioned.. And an amazon reviewer mentions that the description is incorrect, that it doesn't include a USB-C port.

Yea I was curious if the tradeoff would be worth it. Thanks for response, the freesync with AMD has peaked my interest.
Based on LG's website, it doesn't look like this monitor supports Freesync. The only mention on the product page is in the Q&A section where, what appears to be an LG rep, says that it does not support Freesync. http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-...ed-monitor

My model has 1xDVI, 1xDP 1xHDMI.
Amazon reviewer mentioning no C: https://www.amazon.com/gp/custome...SP06N
