HP Omen PC with either i5 7400 and GTX 1060 3GB for $649.00 or i7 7700 with GTX 1070 8GB for $799.00

Forgive me if I am doing this wrong, this is my first post. I thought the 1070 model was pretty good specifically.

1070 is a much better deal imo, you get the i7 and the faster graphics card with 8gb vs only 3gb for the 1060, and 16gb ram vs 8gb

easily worth $150 more

You should mention that it is factory reconditioned. Pretty slick, but there are caveats

No problem. Great find anyways, one I am considering myself. Only caveat is that there is no SSD, and it's not the overclockable 7700 inside, but those are not knocks against you. Great price for a GTX1070 nonetheless.

Nvidia Volta delayed until next year so I bought the 1070 rig. Thanks, OP!

It seems like woot.com doesn't have a good reputation. Any experience?

Should I kill the deal? IMO the 1070 was the only real deal. as Bubbu said, the other rig is questionable....

The 1060 one isn't worth it. It's only the 3GB version, too.
