I have cast iron skillet and cast iron grill grates that I use it on. I love it and have used it frequently for the past year. I have had no issue with losing the seasoning.

stellar reviews but like with many products on amazon, it's hard to trust the reviews now...

anyone have this and/or can compare it to the ringer?

So random. I had this in my cart earlier today. Got distracted. Forgot about it. Came here (because of course) and boom. Thanks OP! These work great, btw.

I was going to say, I was always taught to only use natural fibers (stiff bristled "grass" scrubbers were my family's choice, or those all natural sponges), and never metal or abrasive scrubbers.

I guess I don't really know who to believe...

Edit: "Unlike steel wool, we made our Chainmail Scrubber with 316L stainless steel. The 316L is soft and smooth enough to prevent scratches and could EASILY remove any residue from your pan.
Fast, Easy, Maintain Seasoning". I guess if the rings are rounded, you're unable to really etch away much. Could be safe.

No reviews, but made from the same steel
