Not a deal for everyone but in response to the $775 M3 w 256gb HD that went front page two days ago, I figured I'd post today's sale. For $200 more with the EDU promo you can "upgrade" to the 512gb HD and core M5 processor. You probably won't get much better than this price with a 512gb SSD unfortunately.

Price is 1099.99 minus the $125 EDU discount bringing it down to 974.99. Previously went front page for $25 more which also seemed to only include gold and silver.

Sale applies to all colors.

EDU coupon is free to anyone that signs up for coupon deals.

I think he's mad that he overpaid for his lol.
If Zuckerberg could develop Facebook on an even smaller laptop with a 1st Gen Pentium M, I think you'll do just fine getting through your college program

Thanks for posting this. I saw this yesterday and went ahead and ordered. I was happy to see that it's already out for delivery! I used the .edu coupon and had about $40 in rewards I used to get it down to about $990 after tax.

Maybe the m3 might have been. I haven't seen the m5 w the 512 lower than this unless it just wasn't posted.

Unless I just can't find the deal, it's the m3 you're talking about. The 50 hour sale was $500 off which would make it 1099 for the m5.

There really is not much difference between the 2016 and the 2017. I tried them both out at the same time and kept the 2016. The keyboard is a little different (not the big deal some people claim it is) and the processor is upgraded but that's about it. I would save money and get the 2016.

Correct, it was the m3. I haven't seen the m5 at this price before unless it happened and wasn't posted here.

I almost pulled the trigger on this for my wife, but ended up getting an open box MacBook Pro instead. The MacBook seems like too much of a change (would also have to buy a hub and get rid of the Thunderbolt Display). Great deal though!

I was planning to get the same for my GF... I took her to Apple to check them out (claiming it was a future purchase for myself) and she didn't like how small it was (he-yo) and ended up "picking" a 15" MB Pro (FML).
