Just a note, I have this drive (OEM) in my laptop and Samsung's "Magician" software does NOT support this drive. Which is unfortunate because that software makes a big difference in speed. Compared to my older laptop (same laptop but a slower processor and M.2 SATA Samsung EVO drive), the new PCIe drive is SLOWER in practically every benchmark.

Misinformation. m.2 Samsung EVO 850 is the only SATA m.2 drive Samsung makes and simply won't ever get close to any of their PCIe drive, whether you use Magician's RAPID mode to sacrifice RAM for a boost in speed or not. If it does, the bottleneck is elsewhere and cannot be blamed on the drive.

This is less than 10% slower than the 960EVO, and I've never seen that drive for $350 before. This is a good deal for people who don't qualify to buy the 960EVO for $365 in the other thread.
Man. I remember when we used the big floppy disks for storage. Not 3.5 or 5.25, but the 7.5" with 256 kb storage. About the size of a 2 page word document nowadays. Oh you young whipper snappers.

And no tax for everyone outside of CA on this one. That's another $30 where I'm at.

Unless you have access to an OEM channel these do not carry consumer warranty. Better off getting the similarly priced 960 evo with unidays discount.

If a game takes 20 seconds to load on my SanDisk ultra ii, and evo, then how many seconds will this product ablate?
