The $665 version with HD 620 graphics isn't really worth it over the 7th generation version at Costco for $500 (or $525 without membership). Yeah 8th generation processors benchmark as being 20-25% more powerful, but average consumers will hardly notice the difference.

However, the $730 version is a damn good deal if you want a middle-tier graphics card and some great portability (as most laptops with graphics cards this powerful are 5 pound 15.6" laptops). The MX150 is only slightly less powerful than a GTX 960M.
I just picked up a 14" 7th gen i5 generation version from Costco for $500, plus tax.

It is a solid feeling laptop for, especially for the price. All metal and gorilla glass with a great lay flat hinge. Feels like a high quality machine. This version is higher priced, but if you need to power, I think it is a good deal to get it in this form factor.

However, potentially waiting 2 months from amazon...might have a better deal out there by then, but you can always cancel the amazon order.

This black friday is going to be interesting. Maybe I can replace my t450s with something like this soon. 8 threads would help quite a bit.

Good deal, this is the new Quad Core Hyper Threaded processors from Intel.... so 8 threads... these laptops typically had 2/4 so max 4 threads... very good.

Unfortunately it's not upgradable, it uses onboard memory.

I think thats a solid deal for an 8th gen. I just bought a 13.3" Yoga 7th gen with otherwise identical specs for $718. Interesting that the smaller footprint now costs more but I love the ultraportables.

I just don't understand why they're still using LPDDR3 memory and the vRAM is 2GB when smartphones these days have 4GB of LPDDR4.
