Was looking around the HD and found they marked their garage door openers down. I recently installed the Genie for a friend and would highly recommend it. Very quite and easy to program / install. They also have chamber liens marked down. Not sure if this was just at my nearby store - but figured 50% off is a good deal.

Nothing near me. Went to two local HD's. No garage door openers on sale at all at one. The other had some that were discontinued models on sale. $50 off. Ended up not buying any.

I found them kinda hidden away from the other openers. There were a stack of them.....

And, yeah, on sale like advertised, but not marked!

Brickseek is NOT correct on them at all....

Couldn't you just find if your store has any in stock by homedepot.com then go to the store to see if they're marked down?


Edit: Just picked up a Genie 550 for $70 off. And to answer my question above. homedepot.com didn't show accurate stock.

HD near me had about 12-15 in stock (Genie and Chamberlain) marked down. The Charmberlain HD520EVP was $198 marked down to $94 so I picked up two of those.

Thanks for the tip! - After some searching, found the Genie 750 up on an end cap clearance shelf. Marked at $96, but rang up at $89! A bunch of new models in the garage door opener section, so apparently marking down the old models...

charlotte,nc had them as well 3 genies 3/4 hp for 94 and a few chaimberlands 1/2 both belt drive for 94. i just picked one up perfect timing

I showed my zip and city after I posted the deal. Went back the other day and someone grabbed all them - no more were to be found.

I went to 2 stores. First had nothing but second store had two of the 550 for $85each and two the 770 for $90 each. I picked up one of the 770.
