I have this headset. Be aware that they are "on the ear" not "over the ear" construction. I kept mine as a backup but use the Logitech G533 headset as my regular gaming headset.

from my experience "OEM packaging" typically means brand new but the item won't come in a fancy retail box. Usually the item will come in a plain box or plastic bag...of course just depends on the item. (think OEMs selling in bulk to builders...builders don't need the retail boxes)

From one of the reviews, it appears OEM package is wrapped in bubble wrap and thrown in the shipping box, possibly with your other items.

$13.49 total for the Rig, $12.98 total for the P80, slightly less if you buy both together, I can also confirm the codes working here. If they don't work for you, you might not be a newsletter subscriber.

Edit: I also used the codes on my desktop computer, not mobile, so that could also be why they work.
