Thanks OP! Been waiting for the G4620 to go on sale. One step closer to a completed Deskmini build. Now if only DDR4 would stop going UP in price...
Ditto, tempted by the $149 i5-7600 deal at Frys today. My web browsing and simple Excel spreadsheets just don't warrant it. Both have the HD630 iGPU which is plenty as well for me (LOL I have GT610 in my current old build) I believe this price matches the lowest one that Frys has had yet from my searches on this site.
My new budget build is now over!
Pentium G4620 $59.00
Gigabyte GA-H270-HD3 MB, $59.99
Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD, $69.99
WD Black 1 TB HDD, $48.57
Seasonic M1211 520w PSU, $31.90 AR
Crucial Balistix Sport DDR4-2400 8gb. $57.50
Win 10 Pro License $5
i just bought a G4600 on ebay from newegg. it was $87 before $15 off coupon. I also stacked the samsung pay ebay GC taht had 10%, so my total was about $64.8X
after tax, pretty much the same as the frys one, only difference I will have it in a few days vs tomorrow, but delivered vs picking it up
any cheap motherboards that have displayport or hdmi 2.0 to hook this up to a 4k monitor? or even a 1440p one
Looks like a couple high end Z270 Mother's boards have a display port. But doesn't meet the cheap criteria , North of $100 but with Coffee Lake CPU's coming sales are probable on Z270's which are not compatible.
Alternative is a MSI GT 1030 video card which has a Display port and HDMI for under $80. About double the performance of the onboard HD630 that you will find on the Intel CPU's. Some of MSI cards have the Display port some don't, so check the specs closely.

Just get ddr4 from eBay. 2x4 gb should be around $40-50
