Per the FDA's minimum age requirement, for tobacco purchase, your age will be verified based on the current legislation in your billing & shipping address locations.

Total Wine wouldn't sell me cigars and threatened to call the cops on me when I was 18.

Cigars can be kept indefinitely, as long as they're stored at the proper temperature and humidity. Some folks prefer 70 degrees and 70% relative humidity. Others, myself included, prefer 65/65. As long as you're in this range, +/- 2, you'll be okay. Make sure to season your humidor before storing your cigars in it, use a calibrated hygrometer and use a reliable form of humidification (like two-way Boveda packs) and everything will be fine.

100% correct. As long as your between 60% humidity and 70% and 65 degrees to 70 degrees your fine. Get a quality digital hygrometer and calibrate it and perform the salt test to make sure its accurate. the analog ones that come with most humidors are crap. However if you decide to use the crappy hygrometer, salt test it every 3-6 months to verify its on point. but a quality hygrometer can be found from $25 to $50. well worth it if you have a collection of sticks worth alot of money. protect your investment.

With humidification, go with boveda 69% packs all the way, throw tge pack on top of your sticks, and youll have a worry free system to keep your stogies fresh and optimal for smoking.

As a matter of fact, the longer you properly store your cigars the better they get, and i mean longer as in years. After years of proper storage, the tobacco oils come up to the surface and crystalize to form a fine white powder looking film on top of the cigars. Known as plume or bloom, this is the top of the line smoking condition. the plume will be uniform throughout the cigar, white spots here and there are mold. Look up the difference before you smoke a moldy cigar which can be hazardous to your health. Anyway, my 2 cents, enjoy your smokes ladies and gentleman.

Thompson's has awful customer service and will send you tons of junk emails and actual junk mail. Please stay away from these guys.
Don't take my word for it. Google it yourself.

I was looking at this more for a celebration in March. If I do not get anything else besides what is in this package, will that be OK to keep fresh until then?

No, you need something for humidity or they'll dry out. Easiest way is to skip the wooden humidor, get a Tupperware container that snaps and has a rubber seal, and a boveda pack, 65 or 67% is the usual recommendation.

I agree, that humidor is gonna suck at keeping humidity constant. Go to e-bay and buy a 69% boveda pack, put the cigars in a tupperware that seals nicely, throw boveda in there, keep it away from direct light and heat, youll be ok.

I personally have hundreds of cigars and my humidor is sitting empty in my basement. I keep them in a 100 quart igloo cooler aka "coolidor" Been using this method for years now, never had any issues with humidity or temp control. Besides if i have to buy a QUALITY humidor to hold 5 or 600 cigars, it would cost a couple thousand bucks, an igloo cooler cost me 100 or so bucks. The rest of $$ i saved on that humidor can buy me more cigars haha.

I've camped all my life and didn't think that Igloo or similar large coolers are air tight??

20 days ago haha and it was $3 cheaper bc of a glitch with the codes. This deal is not much different and you get free shipping.

Either way buyer beware that Thompson Cigars will harass you by phone so put in a fake ph# and use PayPal guest checkout so they don't have more of your info than necessary...
I wanted to ask about Thompson's rep. They really have bad rep on forums, but I've never heard why. It's because they haunt you, or are there other reasons?

Just the harassment otherwise I've had no problems with orders. Don't sign up for any cigar clubs or ongoing memberships with them bc they are so difficult to cancel.

You might be right, but the seal will be much better then those cheap chinese humidors. Ive been using coolers, from coleman to igloo, and my humidity is always between 68-71%. And this is using boveda 69% packet.
