Saw this on brickseek while in store this morning @$9, got a couple. Not many reviews but the few there are are good. It looks like a Walmart brand, similar to the Auto Drive power banks I've been posting. Those were very close to their mah rating so they are any indication of the true capacity of these, they should be atleast decent. Make sure you don't get fooled by the new model that is there as well. I initially grabbed bed those and scanned them at like $25. Checked the info and sku was different. Also on the packaging the new one shows all ports are 2.4A, where as this one has a 2.4A and a 1A. I had to ask someone to go into the back to check.

The UPC at some stores is for the 7X version (18,200mah) not the 10X version (20,000mah).

Quote from HaloTechnology :
okay I open one up and there is good news and bad news based on my previous assumption .
1. there no 8 cells , there is 7 so instead of 2300 X 8 there is 2600X7,I kinda expected that since i never seen a 18650 with 2300 mah capacity . the cells date is 2016 Feb

2. bad news is the manufacturer of the cells is made by FST made in china cells though I am 100% sure there are not fake, they don't feel so.
I kinda wished if they are samsung or LG but still

one thing i noticed it has DW01 chip ( with 3 MOSFETs near it ) which I don't like since the cut off voltage is 2.5v which is too low but I guess this is just as an extra protection since there is also 3 more ICs .

right now I am still measuring capacity.
stay tuned for more accurate capacity testing ....

Are these Lithium Cells?

Quote from johnpg82 :
Yes, 18650 cells. I just tested about 6 cells and each cell is about 2900mah average. Even though the batteries are stating they are 2600mah.

edit:
Here is a video that I made on the breakdown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSFR2JoTm5A I have also attached photos of the cells.

Damn. I got baited again by another WM YMMV deal. Showed up to Fremont store, where it said they had 9 in stock @$4. No associates anywhere to be found...waited 25 min w the other customers looking for any sign of help. Finally when ass. is found they immedialy divert attention to other associates who give the crappiest escuses for why its not there and that they need a "gun" to use SKU or item numbr. After 4 different associates, none could help and said there is no clearance stuff in the back. I'm tapping out of these WM scavenger hunts...im like 0 for 8 and lots of wasted time.

I'd say they're worth it even at $9.

They're widely available around me for $9, will most likely pick some up for christmas gifts.

Brickseek says $5 in Baldwin Park, CA and a bunch in stock for $9 at other locations in SoCal. How well do you figure these do if you leave them plugged in 24/7? Figure that would be a somewhat inexpensive battery backup for cell phones/flashlights in event of an earthquake that keeps power out for a few days. Would have enough to share with a few neighbors.

$9 at a bunch in North NJ and actually in stock. Just bought an open box Anker battery with Quick Charge on eBay like three hours ago though.

not a good idea to plug it in always , plus its li-ion battery IT will not self discharge

Anyone know if these keep a charge after charged up?
I have a Newtrent and a PNY that hold a charge for months.
Some other cheap ones didn't hold a change even a week, threw them out.
