I just ordered Lavazza coffee from Amazon for the second time: first time it was 6 months old. A few days ago received 8 months old coffee. Never again from Amazon.

Thanks for posting this - $12 is a decent deal, but not the best -- sometimes these get down to $10.
I pretty much only use Lavazza beans and I'm currently stocked up at the moment, so I'll pass and wait for the next deal (hopefully cheaper).

Not necessarily although you're not wrong. I found 1 month old in one of the Costco in my region (unfortunately not near me and I had enough coffee at that time) and when I ordered directly from Lavazza, it was 4 months old.

Had the same problem, went to Italy's best about three years ago and never looked back. Only grab from Amazon when my auto ship is running low. Dates have always been fresh.
