Mildly YMMV, offer was emailed to me from NVIDIA, but I could apply the code even without clicking through the email link.

Use code SHIELDLINK to bring Link to $9.99 + $4.50 flat rate shipping (or meet $25 minimum to get free shipping. Getting 3 qualifies).

Use code SHIELDBUNDLE to bring bundle to $49.99, includes f/s.
Bundle includes:
1 SmartThings Link for NVIDIA SHIELD
2 urlhasbeenblocked Element Classic A19 Bulbs
1 Samsung SmartThings Motion Sensor

Better deals than the previous offering from Smartthings themselves (was 15 for the link + $7 shipping, or $40 for a Link + 2 bulb bundle)

Ends November 5.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

The Smartthings Link connects to an NVIDIA Shield TV box to give it capabilities similar to a Smartthings Hub.
Maybe most notably, ST does not work with Nest.
Smartthings is compatible with these products: https://www.smartthings.com/products
I couldn't find z-wave or skybell on that list, but these pages seem to imply they work:

ST <-> Nest https://github.com/tonesto7/nest-manager or https://community.smartthings.com...v5-0/83228 for my Nest Thermostat integration

Good question, I'll update post. It connects to an NVIDIA Shield TV box to give it capabilities similar to a Smartthings Hub. The system is compatible with these products: https://www.smartthings.com/products

Just got an email that my pre-order has shipped. Might email and see if I can take advantage of this slightly slicker deal or maybe get a device to use with it. Thanks for posting op.

I was unable to cancel my old order (no ship notification yet), but I was told if I contact support within 30 days of receiving it, I can send back my old order for full refund, no fees.

Honestly no. From my understanding, you can only pair your devices to one hub. I see it as a cheaper alternative to getting a hub. Haven't tried it yet but I would think you could run it wirelessly as well instead of having to be hardwired like the hub.

Pretty much does everything the smartphones hub does. Works great with my Kwikset zwave lock

Wondering if this is going to work with w PC or Raspberry Pi running home assistant. For $15 I'm willing just to take smart things for a spin on the shield. If someone can get this working on home assistant to recognize z-wave products it will be a damn steal.

Depending on how many devices, it can be tedious. You have to remove all devices from your old hub and reads it like a new device.
