  • normal price for the one year 4-ticket membership is $169.95
  • this sale is to celebrate the company's 8 year anniversary, and it's unclear when this sale ends.. it's possible that it may be a one-day only event
  • when joining, you need to choose one city, and your membership is restricted to that one region
  • check yelp comments from users in your particular city before deciding to buy
  • some cities have better selection of shows than others
  • they (and other sites that offer similar services) can't list what shows they have available publicly to non-members.. since the venues don't want that information to hurt their reputation or full-price ticket sales
  • to summarize the service:
    • venues list shows that need a boost for their attendance
    • shows can be listed super last minute, or a few days ahead of time
    • members can visit site and see what shows are currently available
    • members can reserve shows on a first-come first-serve basis, until the quantity of available tickets for each particular show reaches zero
    • once a show is reserved, the member needs to pick up tickets at will-call and attend.. otherwise, there can be penalties for being a no-show

yes. I believe that the only restrictions are:
  • one person owns the membership, and this person needs to be the one who picks up tickets at will-call.. ID is required
  • you can book multiple shows back-to-back so long as the period of time between their respective start-times is greater than a specific period of time. I'm not entirely sure, but I want to say it's 3 hours.

Thanks. Looking at the Yelp reveiws for San Diego, it seems like they only offer comedy shows for the most part unfortunately.

Yeah, I'm under the impression that most of their offerings are in Vegas. I'm in Vegas and have had a membership in the past. It's OK. There is another competing service in Vegas that in my experience is much better.

Still.. for the price.. If I can get one good show out of the membership, then it has paid for itself. Besides, different service providers do have different arrangements with various venues. There's a lot of overlap.. but also a fair bit of exclusive things that may show up on only one but not the other.

they got stricter recently, saying if you reserve and tix and never show up, they won't even give you a warning. and next time you do the same thing again, they will just cancel your memebership. and if you try to do a charge back on your credit card, they will tell CC that you did use their service and you didn't follow their rules. I thought that was pretty rough!!

I have yet to do a "no shot" but was late a few times to pick up the tix. I am thinking late it's ok maybe? it won't go on the record? you just need to pick it up. but if you reserve and then cancel it later I think they don't like that either,max 3 times or something. just wondering if anyone got dinged by any of those or any experiences.
