Just wanted to praise Newegg Customer Service - Consair K70 Keyboard

I bought a Consair K70 RGB Cherry Red keyboard from them on 10/14. It was on sale, refurbished at $64. They shipped it the next business day with a target delivery date at 10/20, through Fedex Smartpost unfortunately.

The shipping info has been stuck on 10/19 at "Departed Fedex facility" with no movement since them.

I contacted Newegg last week a few times, and they submitted a Lost Shipment claim for me. They said it usually takes 7 - 10 business day.

Today I checked and still found no updates in my shipping or in the claim. I couldn't wait to start using my new keyboard. So I called them again.

Since the original item was sold out, they generously agreed to let me purchase a K70 LUX at the same price $64. It was priced at $109.99. And I was able to use free 2-day shipping.

I appreciate their help, since it's not necessarily their fault that the shipment is lost in transit. Very smooth process!

Its nice that they let you get a brand new one for the same price but I'm not a big fan of them making you wait 10 days to replace the item. Usually Amazon will resend a missing item the same or next day you reporting it missing. Congrats on the new keyboard though!

Thanks! Unfortunately Amazon taxes me. Those bucks could accrue quickly.
