so i ordered the phone for shipping and the sim and refill card for in store pickup, i wonder whatll happen if i just never pick them up? im guessing ill get a refund for just those 2
Goddamn at this rate it will be $200 by Xmas, it dropped from 700 to 500 in 3 months from it's release.
It will not be $200 by Xmas.
$700 was too high, but because of supply issues they weren't able to scale the production well so their own costs were high.
They've since resolved those and were able to drop the price of the phone down to $500, which is more in line with where it should be.
This $399 price is stacking two deals (the $50 off sale price + promo w/ Cricket). Makes it a very good deal, but it's only $400 if you plan on using Cricket anyway. Otherwise, you're gonna have to buy a sim card and plan card you don't need and have to resell them.
in any case, you may find some similar deals to knock the price down to the $400-$450 range, but there's no chance this phone goes for $200 anytime soon.

They'll charge you for the non-promo price of the phone if bundle items are returned or never picked up.
Apparently it's Essential released the price drop rights and not retailers can do what they want to clear the stacked inventory.. Let's see how the market decides on its fate.
That phone is a piece of you know what. Any company that calls it's products "essential" or basic and charges a premium for it is absolutely out of thier Vulcan mind.
