How is that better? Costcos is $80 for $100 in giftcards.

If PF Changs gives you extra $20 for buying $100, that's $120 for $80 (get $10 back on each $50 spend on Amex)

It's a one time offer with AMEX. So conceivably you should spend $90 and get $120 in credit. I suppose that is 25% off instead of 20% off.

Like I said before, I split the transaction. PF Changs does it without an issue. I buy 2 $50 gift cards in the restaurant. You have to have two Amex cards obviously.

I was originally responding an earlier post with someone saying to buy gift cards. I was merely pointing out to maybe wait to do so until the promo started.
