The new U-PHORIA line, and the Midas preamps, are significant improvements over past models. Behringer has got it out of the park with these units. I use the UMC202HD and don't miss my Scarlett 2i2 or any other interfaces. Very clean interface at 24 bit/192kHz. You won't get that quality at this price point from anyone else.
I use mine for recording (home studio) and live streaming on Twitch. Works great in both applications. Get good microphones and headphones and you won't be disappointed. I personally use Sennheiser and Audio Technica exclusively for headphones and a variety of Shure and MXL microphones. Buy with confidence! Behringer has been distancing themselves from the "low quality, low budget" reputation and it shows. They have seriously good engineers behind their products.

Great price for a really good device. I'm using it for my podcast (http://www.unwiredthepodcast.com) so that I could get more than two people on at once. Upgraded from a Tascam US-144MKII. The preamps are really good as I don't have to turn the pots all the way up to get decent volume from my condenser mics.
On a PC, though you have to pick the right drivers to ensure you can see all the inputs individually under your recording software. We are using Audition but that should hold true for any recording software.
I know Beheringer is considered a cheap manufacturer of products but after purchasing Midas their newer line of products are better than before, IMHO. And at this price it is a real steal.

Great deal. Bought one a while back for regular price of $100. Solid drivers and works without driver in win10 after fall update since it is USB Audio 2.0 compliant. Budget audiophile quality DAC with 4 independent outputs.
Thought about this and a Focusrite but went with a Steinberg instead. Costs more (on sale at Amazon this past weekend — not sure if still on sale) but better quality and performance (lower latency, etc.).
Wow, way cheaper than the comparable Scarlett offering with this kind of I/O. How is the latency on this vs. a 2nd Gen Scarlett? I have been looking to upgrade from 2i2 simply so that I don't have to rely on USB power (vs. DC power directly into the interface), but I think it is a minimum of $200 for a 6i6? Pretty sure that this has more I/O (that I don't need ) than even the 6i6.
Great price. I think I'm going to pick one up. Thanks OP!
FYI This 4 in/4out needs (maybe maybe not? see edit below) a wall wart in addition to the USB. Which is fine if it is going to be a stationary unit. if you are going to be mobile with a laptop, the UMC204HD is the largest one in the U-Phoria line that only needs a USB and no wall wart.
Forgive me if this is a noob question. I have some 4-track demo tapes my band did about 35 years ago. Done on a Teac 3340s reel-to-reel, they're 4 tracks, synchronized. If I had this, would I be able to use it with Audacity to re-mix those tapes? Or would I need to get some high-dollar music production software?
I paid $100 for mine in February and love it! I had been using a similar product from another company (M-Audio, I think) that was buggy and not happy with Windows. But this Behringer has been flawless with Windows 10

Whacked
EDIT: Thanks to the heads up by cnhardwick, the UMC204HD may not need the extra power supply as long as the USB connection is powered.
