PP - Price protection provided by some credit cards such Citi, Chase etc.
After a purchase using this credit card, if you find a lower price of the same item you can file a claim with your credit card company to get a refund of the price difference. This period varies from 60 days to 90 days depending on your credit card.
This is based on reading through the replies of the hundreds of LG OLED65B7A threads. Of course this is YMMV and subjected to change.
Price Protection: Chase: TVsuperstores.com approved, ExpressTVs.com approved, eBuyUSA.com denied (because it was a wholesaler site requiring you buy in bulk). Discover: eBuyUSA.com approved, TVsuperstores.com denied (because a free wall mount with the TV) one guy say he was approved after he send in a screenshot without the free wall mount showing so YMMV. Citi: TVsuperstores.com approved, eBuyUSA.com approved, ExpressTVs.com denied (because their contact page is blank) but 2 poeple said they were approved so very YMMV. Wells Fargo Visa Signature: eBuyUSA.com approved
No one has posted a PP to this scam site yet: tvsdailydeals.com $1,599.00 on 11-30.
Anyone who's had a different result feel free to post that information here.
This was the deal I was waiting for; right price, right vendor. After 5 weeks of looking, I pulled the trigger. Josh said I should get it Thursday. And with PP, I'm looking at under $1600. Woohoo!

Where are you seeing PP for $1,600? Or are you saying PP when others list it cheaper?
Not sure why the down votes. Called, took literally 4 minutes. Told them there was a TV I was interested in buying for $2099. The guy knew what I wanted. Got the e-mail 3 minutes after I ended the call.
Brand new, no tax, and from an LG authorized seller. I'm happy!
Saw in another thread that someone mentioned they were able to get an "early Black Friday" deal for another $100 down to $2000 for this model. Anyone has any information on this?
