Its a solid camera, but yeah, the a6000..... would have been much more enticing at a6300. Still a decent deal.

It's a solid camera with 2 good beginner lenses. Solid deal for someone looking to get into photography. Body should last at least a few primes before upgrading. Don't think there is much of a difference to a beginner between the a6000 and a6300, I'd probably recommend saving the price difference and getting a nice 50mm (equiv) lens with the money or putting it toward a full frame later. Overall good price on good beginning bundle.

The camera alone can be had for $467 from Best Buy open box. However B&H doesn't charge tax for most people. So is all the accessories in this kit really worth it? Or am I better off buying from Best Buy.

Anybody feeling there have been no great deals on cameras this year? I bought this camera for $530 last year during Black Friday, along with the standard kit add-ons. It is pricier than last year. Anxiously waiting to get a great deal on Nikons but cant find one.

This. Completely this. People focus on the tech in the body too much when it's really the glass that matters. Just look at the difference and think if the price difference is worth it for your needs.

The main difference between the 6300 and the 6000 is 4K video. Other than that improvements to autofocus, mg alloy body, and the electronic viewfinder.
