The 8000 variant for this size was $647.99 on Amazon this past weekend. I have a screen shot whoever needs it.

This is a better deal with Google Play credit and Costco return policy and warranty.

Same price on Amazon
No it's not. Amazon 697.99 and you don't get the 75 dollar Google play.

From amazon ,,Please note the differences between the MU8000 and the MU800D. MU8000: Gray cabinet, 500 nits HDR sustained brightness, Mega Dynamic Contrast MU800D: Dark Titan cabinet, 470 nits HDR sustained brightness, Ultra Dynamic Contrast''
This one is 800d so its a little bit worse then amazon model.

Hmmm I thought the mu800d was just the "warehouse" model name of the retail version. Do you have a link that shows there's a difference?

I think performance wise they are identical. Color of physical TV is slightly different though. I believe the warehouse model 800D is more of a dark graphite color while the standard 8000 is silver. I've seen both at BestBuy and Costco in the past week and can confirm this color difference. Frankly I think the darker 800D looks much better. Less distracting than the silver and doesn't look as "cheap"
