I have this tablet with s-pen. Screen quality and resolution not as good as I would like but it is still acceptable for whatever you want to do in terms of work or entertainment. Very fast performance and insanely long battery life. I have been using it for watching videos, marking up pdfs and taking notes.
Really if you are considering this tablet you want it for the s-pen. It is the same pen and active digitizer in the galaxy note 7, I think 🤔, and maybe the newer note 8. So it is this thin plastic thing that feels and writes naturally on the screen.
If you do not think you will use it or do not know if you would even use it then I would suggest a different tablet, maybe even from Samsung. Same as the Galaxy Note phones, you are paying a premium for the pen. Maybe try it out or a similar device at an electronics store first to see if you want the pen or if it's just a gimmick to you.
Tablet with s pen has 1 gb more than one without pen and is faster.
Thanks, good to know. I am not sure if the S Pen versions are in the stores as well, I just saw the regular ones in passing last night. My wife is going to buy one of these tablets mainly to show photo slide shows to clients. It would be good if she could compare right there.

Thanks, yes I was also thinking if the premium for the pen would be worth it, but I'll let her make that call, I know I would not have use for it.
I have used S-Pen devices for years now. For me it's not something I use every day... But when I do I'm glad it's there. Also, the S-Pen is good for kids' coloring apps etc.
Amazon also has this 10.1" Samsung Galaxy Tab A Wi-Fi Tablet on sale for 177.99. Just got one and kicked myself after seeing the costco price with a 32GB sd card.
No experience with this but I have a note 12.2 I've basically had nothing but trouble with since I got it and has been unusable for a couple years now with random reboots. Poor android updates as well so personally I stay away from Samsung tablets.
many cheap things are 'trash'.. the question is, is it good for the PRICE
What tablet are you using instead and what did it cost?
And I assume you are referring to the cheaper 10 inch which has meh reviews. The 8 inch and other 10 inch has great reviews on many sites. However 10 inch is only $15 less than amazon
