This is actually a solid shoe...I have the waterproof version and enjoy it.

edit: I use mine for disc golf if that helps anybody. actually has a really good outsole, which is an issue with the wear and tear disc golf puts on shoes.

so I bought both the climaproof and gtx and the size 8.5 fits the best (usually I wear a size 9). Both shoes are quite narrow in the front and my feet feel cramped in front.. the moment i take my shoes off, its a huge sense of relief.. is this typical or should i go for wide?

Same issue for me. The shoes rock, but my feet are a little wider.
I'm thinking of returning to Adidas.com, but I'm not sure.. do they charge you shipping to return? I tried calling but they are not answering.

I returned stuff online.. They generate UPS shipping label which you can print and ship..

Mine finally arrived from Costco. Was quite surprised and they fit well. The grey color near the back of the shoe is darker than the product photo and looked really nice.
