The BEST IPS panels have a contrast around 1,000:1. ( Do not be fooled by stuff like (1 million to 1 dynamic contrast).)
Many VA panels are over 3,000:1.
Many TN panels are around 1,000:1 as well.
VA panels have slightly better response times than IPS, but not as good as TN.
VA panels have better black levels than IPS, and do not have the dreaded "back light bleed".
VA panels are used in many high end TVs.
For whatever reason, many of the professional level monitors aimed at graphics professionals use the IPS panels though, so they may actually be superior for color accuracy or something.
For me, I'm just looking for entertainment.
For me... I wanted..
4k resolution
10-bit color
fast response time
IPS or VA panel
The Acer has all of that, for a bargain price. 32" is about as big as you can comfortably sit on a desk, as well.

how does return process work , do i have to pay to ship it back? the box is HUGE!!
If the color doesn't bother you it's quite crips and no light bleeding etc. would be an awesome deal.
Can you please share the Costco link for the hp one?
Is there a restocking fee or return shipping charges ?
