If you want those two guns then it is a pretty good deal. The Taurus PT111 G2 Millennium 9mm in all black (the tan version is usually a bit more) can usually be found via mail order for around $200. IMHO, it's the best compact 9mm on the market for the money. I've got one and love it. Plenty accurate, shoots like a dream and holds 12+1 rounds. It even comes standard with 2 magazines. I've never had the gun jam on me and I shoot it well enough that it is my daily concealed carry weapon. It's even rated for 9mm +P ammo.

I've also got the Heritage Rough Rider in .22LR with the standard cocobolo wood grips that I paid $109 for. The sunburst grips on the one in the ad are usually a bit more. This gun also comes in a combo with both .22lr and .22mag cylinders, but you can buy the magnum cyclinder by itself from the company for about $30 using the coupon that should come with the gun. It's a fun little gun and very accurate, but not of the same quality as something like a Ruger Bearcat at about 3-4x the price. For the money it will provide a lifetime of plinking.

The above said, those are mail order prices so you will have to pay for shipping and/or FFL transfer fees. So, if you want both of those guns and pick them up in-store to avoid the transfer fees then this is an outstanding deal. All you will have to pay is sales tax and you will walk away with two fun guns.

If you only want the Taurus pistol then you can order it for about $200 + shipping + FFL fees and maybe save a little bit and NOT get a free .22 plinker.

It's not a bad deal money wise. I have the Rough Rider with .22LR & .22mag cylinder, this appears to only have the .22LR, it's a fun little revolver. Think I paid a little over $100 a few years ago on BF at Gander Mountain.
As for the PT111, Taurus has kind of a mixed reputation of quality, but they do have a good warranty and will take care of any problems. Personally, I'm not sure it would be my first choice of a conceal carry gun, but it's not a bad option.
Now, for me, the real deal breaker is the dealer will have to file a form with the ATF reporting a multiple handgun sale if two or more handguns are picked up within a week. It's not really a big deal, but I think the less paperwork, the better.

The gen 1 versions of the PT111 had pretty bad issues, the new G2 Millennium is rock solid and 99.9% of the bad rep it gets is from folks who are thinking of the gen 1 guns. Or folks who are just gun snobs and won't shoot anything less than a Cold or Kimber. I read stupid comments like "how can a $200 gun be any good?" from people who've never even shot one.

Taurus does deserve some of the trash talking they get because they have floated some real turkeys (see what I did there?) on the gun market, but when they get it right they build some nice guns for the money. Their revolvers are pretty solid as is the G2 Millennium. It's the best compact +p rated 9mm high capacity (12+1) on the market under ~$350, IMHO, and a steal at $200 with 2 magazines.

The older gen 1 guns are NOT marked "G2 Millennium" and should be avoided.

No matter the handgun, if you are carrying it for self defense or going to use it for self defense at home then take it to the range and run about 500 Rounds thru it.... that breaks it in and you can verify that it is rock solid.

My G2 PT111 runs everything with no issues, my Kimber on the other hand is extremely choosy about what it will eat.

I have carried the G2 and have faith that it will go boom when the trigger is pulled, I carry it, an XDS .45 and Shield .40 as my primary carry weapons unless I am in dress clothing. Then the church gun I carry is the Sig P238 since it will sit in the pocket and it is the sweetest shooting pistol I own.

The Heritage is a fun plinker for the range and to take fishing, put some snake shot in it and you are good to go!
