I wanted to transfer to them but I don't even see their $3.99 transfer anymore. They say I must have an account setup before seeing the deals? Weird way to do things.

What am I supposed to do? Check back on their site every hour? They're not worth it and my time is not that cheap thanks. Some companies just feel they're getting pulled into Black Friday but they really aren't that interested in being an active participant.

Not really. It's a huge deal for Namecheap fans. I guess you could say it's targeted more at existing Namecheap customers instead of new ones? Regardless, I know a lot of people who get excited about it. I don't know about you, but creating an account isn't a bother to get a .com domain for $0.88 or a year of decent web hosting for $0.88.

BTW, if you missed a deal, just open a chat and say you added that deal to your account but the coupon code isn't showing up anymore (you're supposed to have 48 hours to use it). The chat rep will usually bless you with a coupon code. If they don't, just exit chat and keep going back until you find a rep that will help you.

Who purchases SSL anymore?! Most hosts use CPanel which offers free certificates, and if you have root access you can use LetsEncrypt and be done with it... buying certs every year was a PITA, not to mention copying and pasting all that jazz... that bird has flown, thank God! PS namesilo FTW, free privacy whereas namecheap only throws in first year on new or renewal.

That idea didn't work for me.
All they would give me is a generic November coupon code DOMUCOPIA for $1 off a .COM transfer.
