I've not figured out why 40 simple pounds of steel costs more than a complicated cell phone. But.... Definitely a good price compared to the alternative!
Yeah I was thinking too.
But...
1) The bar is three pounds each
2) Add 2 6# plates
3) You get.... a fifteen pound dumbbell
Only justification I could come up with
