Nizoral is the best kept secret in hairloss prevention or slowing down hairloss. If you use this stuff before you have hairloss or at the beginning it slows everything down. They can't state this on their packaging because it needs to be proven by the FDA. That will never happen. It is just known in "inner circles" what it actually does.

It's basically an antifungal shampoo (ketoconazole). I agree tho. There's a "version" made for animals (e.g. pets) that includes miconazole (antifungal) and chlorhexidine glutonate (antibacterial) called Malaseb [valleyvet.com]that is like paint stripper for your skin
I've used this in the past as a once or twice a week skin wash to prevent tinea infections.
This was much more effective for me.
