DISCOUNTS with Gamepass
I just signed up for a 14 day trial and saw that you can purchase Gamepass games at a discount. Usually around $4 discount for a $20 game.
I would check the list first before activating the free gamepass trial. They add new games each month and remove others.

Microsoft announced this when they introduced game pass. If you played a game with game pass, you can own it at a discounted price if they choose to remove it from their library or if you just want to own it. 20% on the game and 10% on add-ons. You may buy the add-on separately without owning the game (unlike steam)
