Assuming you bought the 2017 model. 3D on the 2016 model is a sight to behold (What I have). The best home implementation of the tech ever made. Would take 3D over 4k anyday. Biggest mistake LG ever made dropping it.

Yeah, baby! Finally a $9.99 3D sale which has 2 movies I don't own. Ordered quickly before they go OOS. It's the first time I've seen those 2 go under $20. All the rest I've seen in $10-$15 ballpark before. While I know I could place 2 separate in-store-pickup orders and get $1 off each and also qualify for that $10 code offer they are supposed to send in January (I think that's still active), I just hate making a 20 mile round trip solely to pick up 2 movies. Or maybe it would have to be 1 order of 2 movies to hit the $10 offer threshold.

I'll just keep it simple and forego the extra discounts to save myself a drive.

EDIT: I just made myself feel better about skipping the $10 store pickup offer. I went back and checked the store pickup options. The 2 movies I ordered are not available at any of the same 2 stores. I would have to go to 2 different stores 15 miles away in opposite directions. Not worth it for a $10 offer.

If I really like the movie and the 4K and 3D can both be had for $20 or less, then I might. For instance, Transformers Last Knight 4K was $9.99 and now the 3D is $9.99. At best I would net $5 for 30-60 minutes of effort selling the extra 2D disc.

But most movies are not good enough to warrant owning both 4K and 3D. If 3D exists, I always pick 3D first.

I wish I could like ghost in the shell, but I just could not get into it. Otherwise, I am always looking to expand my 3d collection....

It wasn't very good, but it could have been worse. My complaint was mainly that it felt very superficial and not a fleshed out story. A lot of time was wasted on that final fight with the tank-thingy. In that regard it reminded me of Resident Evil Final Chapter where long fights are what you get and very little story development. GITS has great visuals though and great 3D with their attempt at a Blade Runner vibe. Still worth $10.
