B&H Select Smartphones $25 Off + 6 Months Free Republic Wireless (Service Not Required For Coupon Redemption)

There are two deals available: $25 off select phones, and a free six months service with Republic Wireless. Sounds like a great deal to me. But in case you don't want the service, you aren't required to activate it and can just take the $25 discount on the phone. I chatted with one of their representatives to make sure this was the case before posting. From what I've seen so far, all the applicable phones are unlocked. More details below.

Coupon for Select Smartphones:
  • Look to see if your phone listing has a button labeled "Clip Coupon - Save $25.00."
  • Click it and the savings will be applied then visible in your cart.
  • It looks like the coupon can be used multiple times per person.
  • Free shipping is also included on many items, no tax outside NY and NJ.
  • Expiration date: January 12, 2018.
  • Applicable phones I've found so far: Motorola Phones: Moto G5 Plus XT1687, Moto G5S Plus XT1806, Moto G4 Play XT1607, Moto G4 Plus XT1644, Moto G4 XT1625, Moto E4 Plus XT1775, Moto E4 XT1768.
Free Republic Wireless Offerings:
  • Along with the above deal is included a Free Republic Wireless SIM.
  • Upon activation, you receive 6 months free service on the My Choice Plan + 2GB.
  • Phone line must be activated by January 31, 2018.
  • You don't need to activate this service to receive the $25 off the phone.
My example deal:
  • I bought a fully unlocked Moto E4 XT1768 16GB [bhphotovideo.com]
  • Total: $129.99 - $25 = $104.99 + Free Shipping
  • In Cart: I added multiple E4s to my cart and each one received it's own $25 discount.
  • Should I choose to use it I could activate the free Republic Wireless SIM and free 6 months of service, or go to a different carrier and keep the savings on a fully unlocked phone.

This is a good deal, especially since these appear unlocked. That's $150 worth of service. Much better deal than slow Cricket service, that's for sure.

The truly unlocked Moto e4 plus comes to like $135 w/ 6 Months republic service, even if you don't utilize the service that's still Amazon's best price on that phone without service. I assume it's TMobile, anybody know if the service requires an app? Wish I needed the airtime , but I'm set for 8 months already on Straight talk.

It says GSM Sim card, I assume it's the T mobile one, not the Sprint which is CDMA. I could be wrong though.

If indeed T-Mo, I'm in for one as a gift. Sprint is weak here in N. California, especially in rural areas where they are mostly a no show.

I ordered one of these phones and just got it. Popped in my existing T-Mobile SIM and everything works as expected. If anyone wants the free 6 months service sim kit, shoot me an offer. Don't need it.
