The quality on these (build and sound) is phenomenal. I owned many, MANY of the LG Tone series before this (730 up to 1100), and like these a lot better. The only two downsides:

Ear buds don't retract or clip anywhere, so they just dangle when you aren't listening. I tuck mine into my shirt pocket so they don't swing.
The battery on the back is so heavy that the band won't stay tucked under a shirt collar, it'll slide backwards from where you first put it on.

I'd say I get 8-10 hours regularly, not the advertised 18, but it still gets me through a full work day easily.
Why do companies make non-retractable neckbands? It defeats the whole purpose!

That's a pretty solid battery life they claim. Got me interested....

How do these compare to the 730? I've had mine for years and I love it. How's the audio quality?

These sound so, SO much clearer. I had the 730s long ago so I don't remember specifics, but I seem to remember LG in general being a little shallow in everything but bass. If anything, I think these pay most attention to the mids, and then balance the treble and bass a little bit. I listen to symphonic metal (think old Evanescence), so these strike a good middle ground between female vocals at the top and electric guitar/drums at the bottom.

So these don't have the magnets, or retractable buds?

I got this the last time it went on sale. The earbuds dont retract, which bothers me more than I thought it would - imagine walking around with the buds flopping around smacking you. The quality for calls is also quite bad - people on the other end report they can hear my background much more clearly than they can hear me. The audio quality is middling. The battery life is solid on this, though.

Damn, these keep getting cheaper and cheaper. From 80 to 60 (which I bought) to 50 now.
My impressions so far, is that they sound good, probably as good enough as my jaybirds x2s and they last a long time which is a huge redeeming factor. They have lasted me about 12 hours at least continuous usage which is enough for those days where I put 3 hours OT.
BUT....I still take my jaybirds over these on most days. And it comes down to bulkiness and the dangling earbuds. I love the long playtime but it just becomes a bit of a hassle taking them on and off or transporting them.
