I'm dialated to 2 cm's Smilie I'm hoping LO stays put until atleast Oct 2nd though. I have a few more things I'm finishing up at work and I don't wanna do them from home.

Yay for being dilated! I'm having pains in my upper abdomen. Not like cramps or contractions, but stabbing pains...and they're shooting through from front to back and into my lower back. Anyone have this? Know what it is?

Good news on the baby front here. LJ has been pretty good about sleeping at night. Down at 9-10 up at 12 and 3 for feedings then up at 6ish. The past couple nights he played the down at 10 up at 12, 2, 4 and 6 "game". That was exhausting. Last night he was down at 9:30 up at 12:30, 3:30 and he's still asleep and it is nearly 7:30. Yahoo!

Pray That he continues this. Now if we can just get his afternoon naps in order! He gets overtired and fights them every step of the way!!!

I hear him grunting...time for breakfast at the snackbar! laugh out loud

Hum I'm really not sure girl, I get pains,cramps,contractions every single day. Even with this being my third I never really know if its the beginning of labor or not. Are you able to lie down anywhere? Have you tried drinking alot of water? They could be contractions caused by dehydration.The next thing I'd do is take some tylenol to relieve the pain. If they are really contractions tylenol won't stop the pain. Start monitoring them with contractionmaster.com and if they are progressing I'd call your doctor. Sigh,sometimes knowing if your in labor or not is kinda stressful hug

LJ def sounds like he's getting on a good schedule for nights. Sorry that the daytime naps aren't working out so well for you right now though. I'm sure they'll get better though.

I'd call your doc office to check this out...better error on the side of safety. That's what you pay them for anyways.

Well at the dr. today I am still at 3cm and 75%. But she's moved down to station +1. The dr. also stripped my membranes and said that if that's going to cause labor it will generally be within the next 24 hours. So we'll see by tomorrow at this time. Otherwise we might end up waiting until the induction next Thursday. I hope she comes on her own before then though. She's being awfully stubborn for being so close Wink

laugh out loud We've been having sex and walking every night for a week straight. I'm unconvinced it's done much! The membrane stripping didn't hurt. She didn't even tell me she was doing it until she was almost done. She was just checking for dialation like normal and just kinda started twisting her fingers in a circular motion for a few seconds and it was over. It does cause bleeding (bright red blood) for a little while but it didn't hurt.

Roll Last night I had a pretty good burst of energy and I started cleaning the house at like 8 pm. I was trying to vacuum and the damn thing wouldn't pick up anything! It was pissing me off sooooo much. I decided to pretty much take the thing apart and clean out the hoses bc I noticed they were clogged. DBF and his sisters came home in the middle of me doing that and he thought I lost my mind. I used a wire coat hanger and was shoving it down into the hoses getting out all the dirt. When I was done I put it back together,and turned it on. It started working wonderfully!!! I was so excited that I started hopping up and down exclaiming " I fixed it! I fixed it!" They burst out laughing at me bc I looked so comical and dbf was afraid that I was gonna knock Lillian lose. Man it was good to actually have some energy to clean the house and fix the vacuum!

How often is it normal for diapers to leak? Lately, every time Maddy poops it's a huge mess. I thought it was just because her poops have been pretty large lately. She hasn't been pooping every day so when she does, she really does. But after a giant blow out yesterday, she went again today. Not a small amount, but not enough that I blame the mess on the volume automatically.

So, do any of you have a problem with this? Is it the type of diaper maybe or the fit? She's been using huggies lately, size 1. The pampers and luvs size 1 just seem too big on her.

Hum only time I've ever had a problem with the diaper leaking is when they aren't the right size or fit.

maybe I need to go back down to newborns for a while then or use another brand even though they seem too big... she's got to be about 11 pounds now so she's well in the size 1 range

she never leaked in any of the brands in the newborn size, but she also used to poop up to 6 times a day - a small volume each time - so it's not an equal comparison
