...The point being, nobody likes drinking frog juice. Pay in salary not in celery. When employers rip off their employees, there's a higher chance of corruption within the organization. Always reward people for their hard work.

Isn't it dangerous to hire unpaid mods? What if a merchant were to reach out and ask them to ignore a shill post for X minutes. What checks and balances are in place to prevent and unpaid disgruntled mod from taking bribes?

I'm curious why you think mods are not paid? Salary is one term. There are also things like hourly wages, benefits, etc.

Discussion of wages has been addressed in other threads and at other times; it is no secret. All mods are paid and they always have been paid. This is a job. I work here full time.

Actually not many quit, some move on to other life things.. some move to other positions and we do grow the team from time to time.


When I started here we had about 13 remote contractors,.. mods and deal editors.

We now have 41 and growing and we have 3 teams.. mods, deal editors and the qa team.
We just brought on a new QA person they are in training, we need another mod and another DE.
So... 43..soon.
