It depends on the conditions I think. I really love goggles, especially when it is cold and windy. It keeps snow and ice from blowing into your eyes. For me, I can do sunglasses on a warm spring day, but overall I think a good pair of goggles is better. Goggles also can be bought with lens tints that you can't easily get on sunglasses such as amber/rose tints for overcast/flat light conditions to really help show the contrast and details in the snow. If you haven't tried goggles give it a shot!

They work great with glasses and they actually look great. Used them earlier this year for snowboarding.

Guys need advice... I already have Zionor X with lenses Polarized Brown (VLT 12.8%) and the Yellow (VT 54%) ... Intermediate snowborder (blue and light moguls) in Colorado. Do you think I should get another set with something closer to 16-20% VLT for middle days or are the Brown + Yellow good enough to cover all settings? Thx!
