Hitachi used to make solid products back in the day... I had a killer VHS deck from them back in like 2002, hi-fi sound, dolby, and it had a jog shuttle on the remote! Thought I was the coolest guy ever with this thing... ahaha!

I ordered this when it was posted at $499 on slickdeals. I received one, it had a cracked screen, I accepted a replacement, that also had a cracked screen. So I'm getting a refund. I never had a chance to test out the unit. Maybe I'll but it here again...it claims 120hz but I've read complaints of very bad blacks and corner lighting seeping in.

I have the 55 inch and its a pretty good tv. It lacks all the crazy features but it has a really nice picture on it and is definitely worth buying at this price

I have the 55" as an outdoor tv. Works great, though the 120hz is misleading. Bought it as a refurb for $339. I would certainly buy it again.
