Incorrect. On ps3 the remote was basically the same from dvds to movies to netflix and so on. On ps4 every damn thing has a different setup. Blu rays piss me off to no end cause its different from studio to studio. Sometimes the analog sticks do something like Rotating for fast forward or rewind, sometimes not. Sometimes the shoulder buttons rewind speed based on how much they are depressed... Other times they just go back chapters. Other times they do nothing at all. Netflix and YouTube do different things with all the buttons as well

Depends on what you're doing. I watch vudu a lot and it doesn't seem to work for that. It does seem to work for Netflix.

The basic Harmony hub remote doesn't turn the PS4 on which is a pain. However, it does allow you to control everything once the PS4 is on and also can shut down the PS4 and your other components (TV, cable box, etc).
