That's what I was thinking. It's better than Win 8, for sure. (And I'm not even a Windows user these days since I prefer UNIX-y OSes like Linux and macOS.)
Wolfram Alpha for free is cool, and useful. Especially for math students but be careful not to abuse the solutions. Use it as a learning tool.
People just don't like change. And/or it broke compatibility for some older apps they used to use, probably.
I'm constantly using community apps for console hacks etc, and lots of compatibility was broken with a few essential Xbox 360 after Windows 8. Everything works fine on Windows 7 on the other hand... Yet IMO, I don't think Windows 7 isn't without its problems.
Personally I like Windows 10. And if you're a college math/sci student....
1) This app is amazing for any math related courses you may be taking (website is still free if I recall correctly)
2) You're probably using Windows 10 anyway

Uh, no thanks, Microsoft. Your Windows 10 sucks, and a $2.99 program as a bribe is insulting.
How is win 10 bad???

Haters gonna hate I guess.
Lol you sound like a basic user if those are your complaints. Maybe try any Linux OS then.
And you RELY on Windows' built in DVD player functionality? Come on, you have to be kidding.
It's true for almost any OS I can think of: third party apps (USUALLY) do the job better...
