Anyone with a library card looking for free DC, Marvel, Walking Dead, etc. comics check out Hoopla Digital (https://www.hoopladigital.com/). They have ebooks, music, and movies as well, but the comics seem to be the real draw.
If you're looking for bang for your buck, the Batman Knightfall series is $5 for each of three volumes. Great story, and it's like 640 pages in the first volume alone.

Some great stuff in there for DC Comics like All-Star Superman.

I wish the trade paperbacks would get as cheap as these digital sales.

Bought some by writers Ellis and Rucka. These two are two of the best currently: the Wild Storm and Wonder Woman

Google Play has many of the titles I was looking for (Marvel) for slightly more. Worked out better for me for the ones I wanted as I have a lot of Google Play credit I got from all the previous deals. Wish they were price-matched...

Also, check out the "Legends of the Dark Knight" creators series, for example, the Norm Breyfogle one. Lots of pages. Breyfogle is one of my top three Batman artists, well worth a look. They have similar volumes for other creators, too.

I know it's not canon, but the Star Wars Thrawn Trilogy is fantastic! Good price at $6 considering a physical copy is over $100.

So I have comixology and use on my iPad, but when trying to buy these on Amazon/Comixology they won't let me proceed unless I select a Kindle device to send it to? Am I really not allowed to get these unless I own a Kindle?

If you order a lot of graphic novels from Amazon, you might have a credit that covers some of these. I couldn't figure out a way to check on my credits, but I ordered Old Man Logan and it came out to be free.

Just install kindle app on your phone or tablet and log in. Then choose that on purchase. They do require it for kindle book purchases as far as I know.

Search amazon digital mp3 credit redeem and check on the amazon link it gets you. That should give you the ebook credits you have.
