I like KitchenAid mixer and use it somewhat regularly, but this attachment is just too much work to get prepare desired food for family of four. Simple knife, peeler and cutting board works much better, faster and simpler.

This may make sense if you want to cook for 10+ people. IMO

This looks like the exact same thing I bought from Costco for $30.

reviews from that seller are not encouraging. Sounds like that seller sells open box / returned items

I didn't get that at all from the reviews. I read every one too.

I had the same thoughts. Way too much work to do something done in the fraction of the time, most of the time.

' however the charger that came with it had a bad USB cable'
' However, the box only came with a charger. No pin to add a SIM card, no headphones, no instruction manual'
' The product was broken'

they also only have 8 reviews

I was looking at this more to make something entertaining for a toddler to eat, the price doesn't seem that great though (hope slickdeals gets enough money for their referral link)

I thought about getting one of these, but is seemed like a lot of work to set it up, get out the mixer - and the reviews are not that great on how it works - some say it only works with perfectly shaped veggies, and they can't be too mushy etc.

I decided to stick with my plastic spiralizer with a hand crank. I can control the pressure etc and it is very easy to clean.

The Costcos around here all carry this for $30 I picked one up a couple of months ago. This isn't really that great of a deal.

So I watched the video for this $60 peeler and by the time I was done I had hand peeled 2 apples.

I guess you can use this for mass peel jobs where you need to focus elsewhere.

Sounds like the kind of thing that would be handy if you had the mixer out on a counter full time. I don't, so that's that for me.
