Not too sure what makes this model different but I bought one after being ticked off at toys r us for cancelling my order recently...

Based on the reviews its a top notch seat. It has the click tight system which makes tentioninh easy.

Best price I could find outside of this deal was $272 and it was $335 at toys r us.

We have this seat (been using it for 2 years) but we also have the non-click-tight version (I believe it's the marathon G4) and actually like it better. It's cheaper and is roomier for our toddler.

The ClickTight system uses a seat belt (as opposed to latch), so as long as there's a seat belt, you can install it there. The real question is whether or not there is enough room for the people in the front. I have one of these in the back of a Mustang. It fits fine, but the seat in front of it needed to be moved waaaay forward. I don't think it will take up more room than any other car seat, really (assuming front-facing).

Probably not. I used to have an 07 Mazda 3 and had to eventually upgrade to a Mazda 5 to fit my kids in. It'll probably fit on one side in the back seat and you'll have to give up most of your front seat

These are soooo much easier to install than normal seats and easy to remove at the same time. Another thing to keep in mind is that these sell well on Craigslist after you child outgrows them. Meaning you can recoup about $100-150 if the seat is in good condition because of the brand and clicktight technology.
