Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/offers

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 800-520-2653 to reach an agent directly
  • email address: [email protected]
  • Ask Chip, your virtual agent, (formerly Allysa and Hank) on the site footer under the CONTACT US link.
- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

I thought you were joking, oops and that the mail in option was listed in the wiki. Here's a link to add. Plug in your zip code and find a local facility that accepts #5 caps - good chance you'll find several near you, some may even be your local curbside pickup. If nothing comes up you can use the mail in option StormRichards posted.... Here ya go https://search.earth911.com/?what...ottle+Caps
There is information in the wiki. I'm trying to clean up the wiki, though, and since I didn't need that information (our curbside takes them), I didn't know if it was valid. So I was the one who started the conversation by asking.

Just goes to prove no one looks at the wiki even when someone else suggests it!

I will update the wiki with the info you've included, thanks!

Thanks for the link. I did a search and found that the Preserve Gimme 5 program has multiple drop offs at Whole Foods locations in my area. My municipality recycles the caps via curbside pickup, but it is cool to know that there are multiple Whole Foods locations in my area participating in the program.

I also have Whole Foods participating in my area but several other choices nearer to me. The options have improved over time!

My Whole Foods recently stopped taking #5 plastics. Maybe all of them in Oregon. Said there is no recycling place to take them in Oregon. Mad Tried the link and I only have the mail in option.

Well, first IW game of the year is up, though on Sprite.com instead of Coke Rewards or whatever it is now.

Sprite is giving away one pair of headphones (ARV $43) per day for the next year. Contest started noon today. Ends December 31 2018. My husband won today's, so you may not want to bother til tomorrow Smilie

Not sure how excited to get over "$43" headphones after seeing the "$15" socks, but what the heck.

Hey, I am currently keeping a stray kitty cat alive in sub-zero cold in part due to the Sprite towel I won. Made a semi-insulated shelter out of a plastic storage bin and styrofoam cooler and used the Sprite towel to both cover the hole and to sleep on. He's staying in my buildings hallway over night while my fellow tenants are asleep and when it is getting down to -10. But during the day, that is all he has. And the towel is what made me finally get the bin. I tried acclimating him to sleeping in another bin I had but he hated it. Then I laid the Sprite towel on the flood and he loved it. And now as long as the towel in there, he loves the bin too. (If anyone in the upstate NY area wants a sweet and gentle stray blue tuxedo kitty, let me know! He's a YouTube celebrity.)

I wish I won some socks too. He just destroyed the catnip sock I made by wrapping catnip in one sock, tying it up, and putting that sock in another sock. Didn't take long for his back claws to rip through both socks and get the catnip everywhere. But those were old, worn socks. Maybe newer ones could stand up to the abuse.

It was a little of both. Sarcastic since you gave me the lecture on bottles and straws, but serious since she wanted to know if it was worth keeping and I figured who better to find out than you.

I never look at it. I have the bookmark here set so it opens to the most recent page, and I only search to find something that might have been posted recently that I need like an IWG AMOE link, or I'll look for someone's name so I can send them a PM. If it was completely gone I wouldn't miss it.

Our Whole Foods has a Gimmee 5 bin and since I eat a lot of microwave meals, I take the containers there. I wasn't sure if the caps were #5 since its not marked - are coke caps def. #5? I generally don't take stuff that isn't clearly marked #5 so I don't contaminate/mix plastics. Meanwhile most people who recycle throw everything but the kitchen sink in the recycling bin, most of which is not recyclable (straws, plastic utensils, etc...)

The caps of these PET bottles are normally made of a different type of plastic than PET (Polyethylene terephthalate). The caps of Pepsi/Coke Pet Bottles are most commonly made from polypropylene (PP) plastic #5 or HDPE (high-density polyethylene) plastic #2.

LOL, I don't think it will be that great! Hopefully it will just be cleaned up enough to be more relevant. Wink

Yeah, I hear you. Maybe if some of the things are cleaned up we'll all know what's there to refer folks to. For example, if the question of recycling caps comes up in the future. Wink

Yeah, I know I wake up every day wondering where I can recycle caps. LOL For the Wiki to be useful someone, maybe you need to keep it up to date. In with the new, out with the old as needed. Might be why I never look at it. Most of what was there is prehistoric.

Oh be nice. I didn't lecture. I conversed with you hoping those who care about recycling would see it. Like I said it's your choice. Peace
