There is no specific end date for the program.

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

My guess is the issue is coke's scanning software is a tad too picky is why it gives you issues. You have to play around with it to work.

So I ran into a bunch of Target employees who insisted I could not buy a plastic giftcard with multiple $5 paper ones. I went there to also return a bathmat bought with some of the giftcards last month. Cashier had trouble with that too, but finally refunded way more than I paid to a plastic card. So I bought something, walked right over to customer service, and returned it. Pain in the neck. Then I hit Walmart to convert some of those giftcards, and that went much smoother.
That particular Target doesn't have self-checkout.

My Walmart won't convert the paper to plastic anymore, so I did the same thing at Christmastime-bought something for just over amount of paper cards, and returned it. My Target trip today with conversion went smoothly. If your Target cashier would just hit total after you tell him/her how much to put on gift card, then they just start scanning your paper cards. Always hit or miss with store employees.

I want to thank all of you that put up any of the sip & scans! I tried to rep all of you but may have missed a few. It was odd for me, I used the same phone camera yet when working on 4 family accounts sometimes one worked, other times others. Always nice to have credit available at a store!

The reason they dont allow it anymore is because target had a sale on target gift cards at 10% off. People abused it by using target gifts to buy the discounted target gift cards and then they rinsed and repeated it to basically get free target gift cards. Just fyi on why they dont allow it.

I think they fixed that issue this year by not allowing the new gift card to be activated until the next day. If they didn't allow it, I wouldn't think the cash registers would accept a Target gift card for payment of a Target gift card. I had no problem today combining mine.

I think I got lucky with my local Walmart - there was no one in line, and I told the lady at the counter that this was an entire family's wins for a year as I handed her a huge stack of printed out $5 egift cards. They were from both IWs in December, plus a bunch from earlier in the year - can't remember from what. She double checked with a supervisor who gave an OK, and then changed 24 $5 egift cards to one $120 plastic card. Yay!

Oh, and I couldn't sleep the other night. Won the Dufffle bag just before 3AM PST.

I don't go to Target much, but the one I went to didn't take print out gift cards at self-checkout. I'm finding Walmart Pay isn't that bad, just a pain to keep adding gift cards. I've been able to use receipt apps with their digital receipts, just have to load them on a tablet and take a picture.

I noticed Kroger now has digital coupons for most of their sales. Walmart's Saving Catcher won't match those prices, I don't see digital coupons as restricted on the Savings Catcher FAQ,

A big thank you to all of those SD members that posted the pictures of the sip & scan icons Big Grin Crazy, one account was able to hit all five & snag $5. The other account is stuck on four. Tried over & over for hours...even visited the soft drink aisles at Target & Meijer, snapping pictures to no avail. Sometimes it indicates the icon can't be read...then it switches to the ineligible message. Also dragging from the middle of the night Olympic sized losses! lol

Probably going to keep trying, just not as gung-ho Smilie

I'm new to the sip n scan method, I did my research and added the Firefox user agent switcher and saved the 5 images Blackraven has successfully used. From what I can tell it seems like I've successfully "scanned" all 5 of the images into 3 of our household Coke accts (and even somehow won a blanket along the way), however I haven't gotten the $5 Target GC on any of the 3 accts (they're not in my Spam folder). This obviously leads me to believe that one or more of the scans are not working. For whatever it's worth when I scan his 4th and 5th images I get a reply of "Your rewarding experience is outside this website. We need to redirect you to there. No, thanks. Take me out of here", should I be seeing this? Any other ideas?

Do/did you have a number one in the gift box icon at the top of the screen. You need to click there and then redeem for your gift card. The Target link will appear on a screen after you have redeemed as well as an e-mail sent to you.
