Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/offers

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 800-520-2653 to reach an agent directly
  • email address: [email protected]
  • Ask Chip, your virtual agent, (formerly Allysa and Hank) on the site footer under the CONTACT US link.
- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

Do you remember if you were logged into the Coke account when you took the survey? I'm wondering if that's the problem. I didn't think to login.

So you can pay the difference in cash in store? You can confirm it doesn't make you add a credit card to cover the difference? That's about the first bit of good info on this we've gotten.
Quote from Kasu360 :
Excellent news. Thank you to all who tested today!
Quote from njf :
Yes. As I posted yesterday you can use cash to pay the difference. You DO NOT have to add another payment method to their app.
Read the thread!
Quote from mdyoung :
I'm just going by what customer service rep said on the phone. I asked what if order is over $5.00, and he said you just pay the difference. I didn't ask about a credit card, and he didn't say difference had to paid with a credit card. I'm going there sometime today, and I'll report back on how easy or hard it was to use the credit.
I think the ability to pay the overage is a YMMV situation. I purchased a large salad and drink for lunch today which came out to about $8.00. The cashier was flummoxed by mobile pay, but the manager came over to help. The register kept telling them the payment method was unable to cover the total. Neither could figure out how to use the $5 mobile pay so I could pay the rest, so the manager ended up just promo'ing the $5 and then I paid the remainder. Moral of the story - go when things are busy and you just might get to use your $5 more than once Grin

Looks like the $5 Target e-GC is ready to be claimed from the survey.

Must claim from your coca-cola account by 4/6/2018.
Just checked my account and Target GF was in there.

Used the previous 8 I had to Get Turbo Tax a few weeks back in which you got a $5 gift card that could not be used on the product you were buying to for so I walk to my car, walk back in and use the gift card. If I just knew I was going to get the survey and another $5 ecard I would have held on to the plastic one. No matter, I still have plenty of soda in the basement from last October and if I ever end up drinking it (I have about 2 cans a month LOL) I will use it to get either Diet Coke Cherry or Coke Zero Cherry..

ok, after spending WAY too much time on this (fortunately, I'm at work so at least I'm getting paid for it) I think I've figured out how to use as many Wendy's $5 codes as you want (though just one at a time, unfortunately). Sorry if this has already been explained, but I didn't see it.

Step 1 - Open an 'InPrivate' window from Internet Explorer (or go 'incognito on Chrome).
Step 2 - Go to My.Wendys.com
Step 3 - Click 'Sign up with your email' - Fill out the information on screen. ****Please note, they do not accept emails from certain domains. It seems to be based on length. I have several websites, and the ones that are @LongDomainName won't allow me to create a new account with Wendys. But the one that is @ShortDomainName works fine****
Step 4 - Verify the account from the email they sent you.
Step 5 - Redeem your $5 Wendy's reward from coke.
Step 6 - Take the link from coke and paste it into the PRIVATE/Incognito browser where you registered (that you haven't yet closed!).

Now your $5 is in your account.

To Redeem it seems you must have the Wendy's app. TO use it, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Download the App
Step 2 - Login using email you registered above (if already logged in, just go to settings, logout, then login with the other email).
Step 3 - Click the 'pay' icon at the top right.
Step 4 - Show it to Wendy's casheer & Pay any remaining balance with cash.
Step 5 - Enjoy your delicious meal.

I hope this helps some people here. And hopefully Coke never does this type of 'prize' again.
So, you can load 1 $5 code doing steps 1-6, then go back and load another $5 code via the steps without having to sign up for another Wendy's acct? I realize you can use only 1/trip to buy something, just need clarification if we can put $10-$15 of codes into app. TIA

From my experience, it's one $5 code per Wendy's account. Private window or not, I've been unable to add a second code to a Wendy's account that's already gotten one.

I think the private window just helps with creating new accounts without having to worry about leftover browser data from previously created Wendy's accounts.

Thank you! Wasn't sure after Seatbelt99's post. Unless a workaround is found, sounds like lots of new accounts work for $5 by those who have accounts for every hair in their head...lol! Repped for the help!!

It says the Wendy's reward expires 4/2/2018. Do I just have to claim them by that date or do I actually have to take the code from my email and load it to a Wendy's app by then???

Yep, I've got 4 family Coke accounts, and now 4 family Wendy's accounts. Hooray for symmetry?

Overall, kinda annoying, but since the $5 does not expire once in the Wendy's account, I'll use them all eventually.

You have to redeem the reward on the Coke site by 4/2. You have to set up a Wendy's account and follow the link Coke provides (on screen after redemption and in an email to your address) by 4/8. Those links look something like https://my.wendys.com/redemption?...otion=coke

Once the $5 is successfully in your account, it does not expire.
Quote from email :
1. Copy or click the link by April 8th, 2018 - the link will expire after this date
2. Create a Wendy's® Account, or sign in to an existing one
3. Once logged in, a $5 Credit will be added to your Mobile Pay balance!*
4. Use the funds to pay in the restaurant, or place a mobile order**

*Funds will not expire once they are in your Mobile Pay balance
**In participating Wendy's® restaurants.

Used wendys today as well.
1. First showed offer bogo spicy chicken sandwich.
2. Paid with mobile pay code.
3. Total was .74 cents after bogo offer and the 5 gc. Paid with cash
Cashier had no idea how to do offer and the mobile pay thing. Tried to claim they don't accept anything from phones. Manager had to help her with offer and cashier next to her helped with mobile pay after. So it works just some cashiers have no idea how to use their register.
Every commercial is for ApplePay MasterCard Wallet or some other mobile pay thingie and yet every store acts like it is the first time they have had someone use a cell to pay

Here's the problem, those salads use to be "total garbage" based on my past experience. Although the condiments made the 'total garbage" salad palatable. The bases of a salad is lettuce and when that is all white with a splash of yellow it can't be good. The large chili with cheese is a better option. Sorry, I didn't mean to rain all over your food choice, but I have a fond remembrance of their salads. Smilie
