Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/offers

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 800-520-2653 to reach an agent directly
  • email address: [email protected]
  • Ask Chip, your virtual agent, (formerly Allysa and Hank) on the site footer under the CONTACT US link.
- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

We all have our limits. I remember a poster here who went to I think it was Daytona or Indy years ago, and he said it was Coke caps everywhere like manna from heaven, just lying there waiting to be picked up.

I haven't done stadium pickup lately, but you have to be fast before the ushers say "You have to go now" and chase you out.

I admit though, I probably wouldn't spend money to go to Disney or even burn a Coke-won Cedar Fair ticket just to nab caps, but picking up a few here or there, nothing wrong with that.

I went to my state fair a few years ago and got a couple hundred caps by lifting those huge bottle-shaped tops off recycling containers to nab caps. Only a few of them were already cleaned out by other MCR fans. But I also looked the part by wearing light sunglasses, floppy had, and a neon yellow running shirt, to look the part of maintenance. But I was going solo that year. Also, it's dark looking inside those things, and sunglasses can't be too dark. Those bottle-shaped recycling tops are also not easy to take off from the tubs!

This must've been during the old MCR era where more people were using it. The trash cans now are a lot more plentiful lol. Like I said, it is just a side hustle for those who are motivated to get them.
When we went to a Cedar Fair park & a Zoo a few years ago I collected a couple hundred caps from their recycling bins. While I didn't go nuts digging deep in trash/recycling bins, I grabbed what I could while waiting in line for a ride, after eating or before bathroom breaks. Outside of this most of my codes are from what we drink so this was an easy way to get some of the product specific caps I normally wouldn't have like PowerAde and Diet Coke. The different product caps have not been as needed in the new program but I will likely grab some caps from recycling bins if we are lucky enough to win some Cedar Fair codes in the current contest. We are a decent distance away from any of the parks so it becomes a family summer trip and having free tickets make the trip much more affordable. My daughter still talks about the last trip and is always hunting down caps to help us go again Grin

Yes, in addition to family I've been managing accounts for some of my daughter's friends. They have me keep the little and 'junk' stuff, but a big prize - if I ever won one on their accounts - would go to them.

Yes, I pick up the easy extras along the way - especially at stadium events - but have never been in a situation like you describe at a park.

I also have never been the 'player' that so many on here are. There's plenty of ebbs and flows in my play. Maybe if I was more committed to it I'd get some of the bigger prizes.

Oh, the irony of continuing a never ending losing streak in attempting to nab tickets to the hapless 3- 17 Cincinnati Reds! It's like a double header of losing! lol

Anyway, is anyone here having trouble entering red caps? In the last few weeks, 5 out of 6 came up as "expired". These caps were on bottles purchased within the last few weeks. Does anyone know why this might be? Thank you for your help! Smilie

My guess is you did. It was emailed and has been mentioned right on the front of the Rewards page for over a month.

All what exactly? Asking for some help? I guess since I don't have 15 accounts and don't post about what I won I should know better than to post here. Believe me I learned my lesson.

Well then, thanks for the non help.
I didn't get this special code e-mail and I'm assuming others may not have either. It's the same thing with the enter 25 codes to get an amazon $4.29 the following month. Many on here got that offer, but I didn't. The offers vary and it's hard to crack why Coke gives offers to some and not others.

So, I remember when the Summer IWG started, it was discussed you couldn't win a prize more than once on an account, though several have reported doing so. I won a 20oz Coke on one account twice and figured I had just 'lost' one of them, since I hadn't even thought how that would work.

I just redeemed one - sending the text to my phone - and the second one is still in my account to be redeemed. So it appears even with this one if you do the STOP after redeeming on in store, you should be ok.

Like many of you, we don't have any of the options near us, but we're going to the NFL Draft in Dallas next weekend and they have ten within 5 minutes of our hotel.

I don't do much with this program but Coke sent me an email in March for

A FREE CODE ON US "with a free code on us, it's the perfect opportunity to taste the rewards from Coca-Cola®. Visit Coke.com and use the code on the most refreshing offer of your choice – 100% on us."

I think it also mentions it on the Rewards page of their website. When I try to enter it as one of the five codes needed for the FandangoNOW offer it tells me "Sorry, you've reached your daily limit. Come back tomorrow for more chances to win."

Can I not use it for that promo as one of the five codes needed? Or is it just for sweepstakes type promos? Confused by what they mean by "Choose any offer on our Rewards page".
I believe this code was some sort of "Reconnect" offer to get users to engage the program.

My goldmine for caps has always been Ohio State football games. 110,000 people attend on average. Coke products are exclusive at OSU games. The best games are the ones that they win a close game against a rival and the field gets stormed with students and other fans. That happened last season for the Penn State game.It takes a good 45 minutes for security to clear the field of people. That keeps them from clearing me out of the stands. The only problem is that recently Ohio State has allowed beer sales at games. That has cut the amount of 20 oz coke bottles by close to 50%.

I tried to be helpful. Your welcome. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) And no, I did not get a code. Neither did my husband. You said yourself you don't do much on the program. That's why you got the free code. We use our accounts daily, so Coke is not sending us codes to get us to 'taste the rewards' or whatever it said.

I can't believe that's spreading. Well, the colleges can make more on a $12 beer than a $6 Coke.

Is there any reason to keep saving 12-pack codes? I have been hoarding them all 2018 thinking (hoping) that Coke will make them more value...but it seems like that may not ever be the case.

I used some 12 pack codes for the free movie ticket offer. I can appreciate they used to be "worth more", but if I can use them for something good I will. Overall the "new" program is way ahead of the old program as far as ROI for me.
